The Bedroom Artists Collective is a London-based art group that welcomes all emerging and independent artists. Our aims are simple: to support and connect artists together, and to connect the public to their work. We hold exhibitions, run workshops, seek out venues, meet new artists, and most importantly, strive to share our art with everybody. See our mission for more information.
Bedroom Artists was founded in 2016 by artists Julie Pallot and Nora Emilia as a solution to the difficulties faced by independent, unaffiliated artists in London. We wanted to provide a platform and community for like-minded creative people, as well as share our work with the public, and so we put on our first exhibition at the Hive, Dalston, featuring 36 individual Bedroom Artists. We have gone on to produce a further exhibition in 2017, as well as a weekend of workshops with the Royal Academy. We are currently working towards our next show in December 2018, please check our website for details appearing shortly.
Our collective is open to all artists. We are not concerned with your qualifications, your resumé, your age, your experience, or whether you are a professional or a hobbyist. We only care about your passion and your commitment for excellent art.
